The partnership creates a more complete lifecycle model, bringing together Origin Micro’s expertise in sourcing and distributing enterprise IT hardware with Rare Recapture’s secure, end-to-end management of retired technology assets—from recovery and data sanitization through value optimization and responsible disposition.
Retired technology can still contain significant financial value alongside sensitive data and environmental liability. The challenge is determining what should happen to each asset while maintaining security and accountability.
Rare Recapture tailors its approach to the assets and requirements involved, with secure handling, documented processes, transparent reporting, and data sanitization guided by R2v3 and NAID AAA standards. Each asset is then evaluated for its highest-value recovery path.
